BancTec issues updated HR policy, adds "pay per call positions" to corporate governance policies and procedures for the first time. New policy seems geared to screw IBTs.      Hearing on Plaintiffs' Motion to Compel BancTec in Boudreaux case 3/30/2005 at 11am.      All IBTs in Newark, NJ and over two thirds of IBTs in a Pennsylvania metropolitan area office walk out over the new IBT pay scheme.      In Aki (Georgia) case BancTec has filed a proposed "Confidentiality Order" that would allow BancTec to declare ANY document or information "Confidential" and prevent sharing or publication of the documents or information.      BancTec announces new minimum wage based pay scheme to screw employees again, refuses to hand out hard copies of payment details citing "competitors" as the reason.      From court documents: BancTec, Inc. involved in settlement discussions in Aki, et al (Georgia), Sansome (Georgia) and Gomez, et al (Colorado).      Texas (Paige): Plaintiffs' attorney hammers BancTec, Inc. BancTec accused of refusing "to provide basic discovery" and "Boilerplate objections". Motion to compel BancTec filed.      CFO and Senior VP of BancTec, and GM of CNS, Brian R. The other case mentioned is the Oregon case, the corresponence is the April 25, 2003 letter from the IRS to Cindy MacFarlane.      April 25, 2003: IRS Reaffirms November 8, 2002 ruling that all ICs where employees.              IRS states that BancTec, Inc. should have IMMEDIATELY notified all affected personnel about the November 2002 IRS determination that the "Indpendent Contractors" were found to be employees by the IRS.        New employee litigation alleging labor violations filed against BancTec, Inc. in Louisiana.       IRS reply to Form SS-8 indicates that ALL BancTec, Inc. "Independent Contractors" were employees by IRS rules.       BancTec, Inc. requests and receives a Settlement Conference in Louisiana litigation alleging labor law violations.            Court rules threats of retaliation by employers are illegal.            BancTec, Inc. defending against six federal and state employee filed lawsuits alleging labor violations. Cases filed in Colorado, Georgia, Louisiana, Oregon and Texas.        September 23, 2004: Subpoena filed for The Network, Inc. which provides the "Ethics Line" for BancTec, Inc.

Boudreaux settles in Louisiana: case dismissed without prejudice due to settlement. Soon after BancTec policies and procedures added as evidence in the case. CONGRATS.      BancTec extends deadline for IBTs to accept Plan A or Plan B and return by 4/1/2005.           Settlement talks linked to SEC filings? Last date to file 2004 Annual Reports approaching and adding pressure to settle for BancTec.           According to an ex IRS Criminal Investigation Division investigator, the IRS CID is probably investigating BancTec right now, "I can guarantee that there is a lot going on" and has probably "contacted the Justice Department".          BunkTek Forums has made its mark on BancTec. Coley Clark is the replacment.
